Get Ready to Learn with the Stop, Collaborate, and Listen Podcast
We are dropping in today with some incredibly exciting and special news: We started a podcast!!!
Earlier this year, at one of our Collab Team Meetings, we were brainstorming and dreaming of new ways to provide eating disorder education and awareness through a collaborative lens. Someone mentioned a podcast, and a few of us thought it could be really cool. I’d been secretly dreaming of doing a podcast for the practice, so I was pretty excited. Fast forward a few months, and our lovely leader, Lauren, gave me the green light to get started. Allison accepted the request to be a podcast host, and we got to planning!
Today, our very first episode launched!!
The Stop, Collaborate, and Listen Podcast
Stop, Collaborate, and Listen is your go-to podcast for real talk about eating disorder treatment and recovery. Hosted by a collaborative crew of dietitians, therapists, and recovery coaches, we dive into the messy, meaningful parts of healing with compassion, curiosity, and a little bit of humor. We offer evidence-informed discussion, client-centered insights, and honest reflections on what recovery really entails.
Each episode breaks down the myths, methods, and moments that make recovery complicated and possible. Whether you're a provider, caregiver, or in recovery yourself, you'll find practical tools, validation, and thoughtful dialogue grounded in clinical insight and real-world experience.
The Details
The podcast is available on all major platforms, and episodes will be released weekly, on Fridays! Our Collab Counseling clinicians will be joining us for some episodes, and soon, we hope to bring on some of the other clinicians and treatment centers we work with on a regular basis. We will be discussing all things eating disorder treatment and recovery, diet culture, body image, exercise, and more. We are looking forward to sharing some hot takes, ranting about the latest diet culture fad, and speaking into some of the blog posts we’ve already written in more depth. This podcast is for clients, clinicians, and caregivers (parents, spouses, partners, and friends).
